             Hello and good day Everyone!  This is Tessie Clune-tessieart333.  Through these past months since I did my last newsletter, a lot has happened.  I am now a married woman, became my own boss and work from my home and working on my second music album as well joining a band called "Angel Wings"!!!   I have been emailing everyone to let them know about my artwork and beautiful products that are now available for sale on Zazzle.com.  Emailing everyone is also giving me the opportunity to check and see what my watchers & viewers have been up to with their artwork and writings.      I'm about to take you on a magical journey through a mystical desert, an enchanted forest, a haunted castle and a seascape.  I'm a Singer/Songwriter and Instrumentalist who is inspired by film scores of the classic fantasy movies, game music and my artwork.  Growing up in various parts of the US with my military family, I discovered the power of imagination.  My whole family is very creative.  My mother is an amazing singer/songwriter that has played her music throughout my entire life and inspires me every day.  When I was very young, I knew I was blessed with the gift of drawing and illustration. When my mother would take breaks while practicing her songs on the keyboard; I would sneak over and in time, I discovered that I had a love for writing instrumentals.  This album is a compilation of my childhood fantasies infused with the romantic theme of my upcoming wedding.  I really wanted to create a unique sound, comparable to the magic of "A Midsummer Night's Dream." One can never be too old for a little magic and fairy tales can be real.

   Thank you Jesus, for helping me finish the album I've been working on for the past five years.  You are always in my Heart & Soul.  Thank you to my mother, Mary Lou. Thank you to my sisters; Laura and Shelly.  Thank you to my wonderful husband Thomas. They have all shown their constant loving support and belief in me and my talent.    I want to thank my creative teachers who inspired me and supported my point of view and vision throughout my life.  Thank you to all the musicians and artists that have influenced me over the years and helped me to develop my unique sound.  Thank you to my viewers on deviantART and my followers on Twitter who have showed their enthusiasm and encouraged me to finally finish my album this year.  I would also like to thank open source software such as Audacity, Krystal and Gimp-I couldn't have done it without you all.  Thank you to Kinetics II, which really brought my music to life.

Hello and good day!  This is Tessie Clune. I changed my user name from tessieart28 to tessieart333.  You may have just added me to your watch or you may have been watching me for the past two years.  I am emailing to let you know that finally some of my artwork is available for prints and merchandise.  If you go into my gallery and scroll down to the end of  folders you will see the folder "Art and Merchandise for Sale".  This is where all my art pieces will be available for sale: tessieart333.deviantart.com/ga….  I have also made my gallery more easy to navigate by organizing everything into categories.  If you don't see a piece that is available for sale-let me know.  Some of my pieces that I didn't release for prints will undergo slight revisions before I submit them as prints. Also there is a slight issue with my older pieces of them being low resolution.  Later this year in the summer, I will replace some of my older pieces with higher resolution images so they may have more options to be released as prints and to be put on different forms of merchandise.  I will also be posting scarfs and jewelry handmade by me that I will also try and sell as well.  I have been waiting two years to finally do this and I think I am finally in a position where I can concentrate on the business side of deviantART and really try to make selling my artwork and crafts a part time job for myself.  I appreciate your support and if you are interested feel free to browse through my work and buy what you like.  My work would make great gifts for friends and family for holidays & birthdays.  Keep me in mind for future reference

It's been super busy you all.  I apologize for not posting an art piece in the last month...I was ill for awhile with the flu and I also had food poisoning...very unpleasant experience...I have also been working hard on Christmas gifts for my family and my husband.  A new art piece to celebrate the Christmas holiday will be on it's way in the next few days!!!  I would like to review the past art pieces I have done the last seven months...Ok…Wear did I leave off…the last piece I mentioned was "Kissing Wishes"; so the next piece I did was "Slumber of the Flower Guardian"…which was  a bittersweet piece to work on since the original was almost ruined in the flood I was in.  I decided to re-master it and I think it came out more beautiful than the original with it's vibrant spring colors.  Then I decided to take a proposition from one of my friends on Facebook and do a portrait for her birthday-"Cheryl Create"…she loved it and was really happy how it turned out.  I wanted to get back into my mermaid pieces and found another old drawing I did and updated my "Weeping Willow Mermaid" piece and did two different versions a PG and and Adult version.  This is where my artwork began to change and evolve since I received a Bamboo tablet for my birthday where I began experimenting.  Then I did an impromptu piece "Infra Red", which started out as just a swirl of brush strokes from the tablet that my Husband Thomas did trying to set up the tablet and sync it with my art program Gimp 2.  I saw an interesting hairstyle in the swirl so that is how Infra came to be.  I might eventually do a story based on this character eventually…I also got some more drawings of this character in my sketchbook that I will eventually digitize and post at a later date.  Next, the opportunity to do the t-shirt contest of Mythical creatures came to be and so I had to part take in the festive contest.  I did three designs and some of them were rejected because of the color stipulation…but I always say live & learn…next t-shirt design contest won't be a problem.  the t-shirts were well received by my viewers & watchers.  Because of this I am thinking about starting up a design space on Zazzle.com where you can buy different kinds of merchandise with my artwork on it…I hope to do this soon…so I will also keep everyone updated!

  My artwork really took a turn for the better when I did "Modor and Beowulf's Seduction"(the two different versions).  I have become inspired by experimental media such as stains on walls and concrete, wood patterns, and Marble.  The Moder piece started out as a wine stain on the wall.  I accidentally spilled some wine while I was cooking and saw something in the stain and took a pic of it with my cell phone,  At first it was going to be either a fairy or elf piece…but it started to evolve into this Beowulf Mythic creature.  After that I posted "Leafdro-Prince of the Drow Elves".  I really like this piece cause it really showcased my ability to used light and have it bounce on surrounding areas.  I also don't have a lot of male characters in my gallery so it is always a treat to see one. I might to a full body version of this character in the near future.  More Male characters on the way I promise <3  I then became oddly inspired by a pile of Romanian garlic peels one evening when I was chopping garlic cooking my dinner.  I took a shot of it using my cell phone camera and began illustrating this pale white vampire-"Princess Vampira'a Reflection" with this unique squid-like dress that seems to be attached to her.  I think it is one of one of my favorites & one of my most ethereal art pieces.  I am also inspired to write a short story about this pale white Princess vamp.  I have also been inspired by Disney's Tinkerbell series and wanted to do my own version of a character and came up with "Zoe Bee Loved".  She is the queen of the honey combs with her enchanting animated face.

  It was my husband's birthday and he always appreciates when I do artwork for him.  So I decided to do two art pieces.  The first one, "The Sparten and the Arbiter" was inspired by of course the Halo series that we both love.  Every weekend we order out for pizza and play firefight…its total relaxation and we both have a lot of fun with it…I really wanted to do a halo piece for him and I would love to do more.  The Next one is done from one of his favorite games from my husbands past "Avernum 2: and the Crystal Soul"…I also really wanted to practice my environment art skills and my speed painting with these two pieces.  He really enjoyed both pieces and one is on this desktop... I also noticed there is not really a lot of Avernum fan art here on deviantART...lol

 Next, I got the opportunity to do one of deviantART's famous contest …."The draw this again challenge" so I took one of my favorite pieces from way back when-"Dream In Your Hand" , using Microsoft paint originally.  I did a complete re-illustration using my Bamboo Tablet with Gimp 2.  I truly believe this comparison shows my growth as an artist and I would like to thank all my viewers and watchers who commented.  I will definitely be doing this challenge again & again! The last piece I am going to mention in this journal is "Forces of the Sea".  This piece is turning into one of my personal favorites…it's one of my highly detailed pieces and I think it came out like I envisioned it.  It started out as a picture of a marble door on a bathroom stall and it went from there…I had to illustrate something from it because the way the light was shining on it vaguely created this scene in front of my eyes.  I am completely in love with it.  I also wanted to mention to all my viewers that I will keep doing PG and Adult versions because I really want to pertain to my young viewers as well as  my adult viewers.

 I would also like to wish my watcher, viewers and friend a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year.  Thank you for continuing to view my work and for your inspiring comments & encouragement.  One of my New Years Resolutions is to focus on environment art (speed paints) and character concepts...so all will start to see more those types of piece in my gallery.  Thank you again for all of your support!!!

I want to say thank you to all the wonderful comments that my viewers and watchers have been making lately…You all have really touched my soul.  I am so happy to see people form all over the world adding me to their watch.  I am really inspired by people's artwork.  my page views have grown tremendously because I am getting more involved on deviantART and I am going to continue to do so.  I favorite anything that catches my eye and inspires me and I truly believe it has made my artwork better.  Another art piece is one the way.  I am sorry for the delay…It is also one of my highly detailed pieces.  Right now I am illustrating my own version of Beauty and the Beast and hope everyone enjoys it.  Soon I will join the premium membership where my best pieces will be available for prints and everyone will get the chance to request prints as well from my gallery.  Hopefully I will get to do this really soon.  I love you all and I send positive/creatives vibes to you all across the globe.
